29 CFR 1910.23(b)(9): Ladders were not inspected before the initial use in each work shift, or more frequently as necessary, to identify any visible defects that could cause injury: On or about August 3, 2017, employees were exposed to fall hazards when rolling ladders had not been inspected to discover that one ladder would not lock in position, one ladder would not unlock to permit rolling, and a third ladder had bent braces/supports. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
