Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001A Hazard:
Section 5(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to vehicle struck by hazards: (a) On or about July 28, 2017 for the employee that was struck by a Freightliner FL80 truck while performing road proof testing at the Williston Airport Project 5800 Block 141st Avenue NW Williston, ND. Abatement Note: Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method of abatement to correct the hazard would be for the employer to develop and implement a comprehensive construction work site traffic control plan that addresses struck-by hazards for personnel on the ground to include but not limited to earthmoving equipment and construction vehicles entering, operating and exiting the construction work site.
