29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: On or about July 28, 2017, an employee was exposed to the unexpected energization of the escapement located on the Raw Parts Conveyor located in Machine Cell 5007 and 5008 in the Machine Shop while conducting servicing activities such as aligning the liners and the employer had not required the utilization of the established machine specific written procedures to be followed to ensure the release of stored energy did not cause injury to the employee.
