29 CFR 1910.132(a): Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered: (a) Rockwater Rockies L.L.C. at WCR 129 and WCR 134, W. 1.3 mi., New Raymer, CO: On and about July 5, 2017, the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from injury, in that an employee did not wear high-visibility garments. The employee was operating the controls for a spool trailer on roadways as hose was laid along of the side of the road for a water transfer operation. The employee was exposed to struck-by hazards from vehicular traffic.
