29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer shall conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirements of this standard are being followed: a. On or before August 23, 2017, the employer did not conduct periodic lockout/tagout inspections to ensure that the energy control procedure and the requirements of this standard were being followed by authorized employees performing cleaning, changeover, servicing, and maintenance on machines and equipment throughout the facility including, but not limited to, line 11.
