29 CFR 1926.501(a)(2): The employer did not determine if the walking/working surfaces on which its employees were to work on, had the strength and structure integrity to support employees safely: a) Roof Area: The employer engaged in roofing work replacing damaged parts of the roof did not determine if the walking/working surface of the roof had the strength and structural integrity to work from. On 7/5/2017, An employee performing roofing work fell approximately 20 feet through the roof.
