29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(ii)(B): The energy control procedures did not clearly and specifically outline the steps for shutting down, isolating, blocking and securing machines or equipment to control hazardous energy: a) Ames True Temper Inc., Mill Area, on or about 6/22/17: On 6/22/17 an employee suffered a pinky amputation while troubleshooting the limit switch that activates the jump chain transfer. The jump chain energy control procedure did not include steps for isolating the jump chain transfer limit switch.
