29 CFR 1910.219(d)(1): Pulley(s) with part(s) seven feet or less from the floor or work platform were not guarded in accordance with the requirements specified in 29 CFR 1910.219(m) and (o) On or about 27 April 2017, an employee engaged in material packaging procedures suffered a finger amputation on line one. While attempting to adjust the tracking of the bags on the Matrix machine the employees left index finger came into contact with a belt and pulley that was not adequately guarded.
