29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirement of this standard were being followed: On April 18, 2017, and at times prior to, annual audits to evaluate the effectiveness of the company's machine specific energy control procedures were not completed as required. A review of company's energy control procedures revealed that the procedures were deficient in that the verification step was missing. Energy sources used at the facility include; but are not limited to, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and thermal energy.
