29 CFR 1910.133(a)(1): Protective face equipment is not required where there is a reasonable probability of injury that could be prevented by such equipment: On or about March 17, 2017, and times prior thereto, the employer does not provide custodial employees with personal protective equipment (PPE) necessary to protect them from hazards associated with physical contact with chemicals when they transfer caustic cleaning chemicals from the original container into secondary containers for use in the facility.
