29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1)(i): The employer did not select and have each affected employee use, the types of personal protective equipment that would protect the affected employee(s) from the hazards identified in the hazard assessment: a. In the Eddy Current and Air Separations Plant (Eddy Plant) , on or about 2/18/107: An employee was walking through the Eddy Plant at approximately 5:20 in the morning in the midst of heavy equipment operating. The employee was not wearing a hard hat or high visibility vest and was struck by a piece of heavy equipment. Abatement certification must be submitted for this item.
