29 CFR 1910.23(d)(4): The side rails of through or sidestep ladders did not extend 42 inches (1.1 m) above the top of the access level or landing platform served by the ladder: a) 9000 River Rd, Delair, NJ, 08110- Foundry: The fixed ladders in furnaces (1-4), used to access the pit for maintenance and cleaning, did not extend 42 inches above the floor from where the ladders are accessed, on or about 2/14/2017. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
