29 CFR 1910.1030(c)(1)(v): The employer did not solicit input from non-managerial employees responsible for direct patient care who were potentially exposed to injuries from contaminated sharps in the identification, evaluation, and selection of effective engineering and work practice controls and did not document the solicitation in the Exposure Control Plan: a) Worksite, Allegheny General Hospital, on or about February 14, 2017 - Employees were not solicited on the evaluation and selection of safer and effective sharps with Engineered Sharps Injury Protections (SESIPs) devices that have had direct cause of bloodborne pathogen incidents.
