The top edge height may exceed 45 inches (114 cm), provided the guardrail system meets all other criteria of paragraph (b) of this section: At warehouse 301, the employer did not ensure that employees working on the pouring platform were protected from falling approximately sixty-five (65) inches when: A: The installed top chain of the guardrail system on the pouring platform was measured at approximately thirty-three (33) inches. B: On the East side of the pouring platform, the top chain was measured at approximately forty-six (46) inches. C: On the North side of the pouring platform, the top chain was missing.
