29 CFR 1926.451(b)(2): Except as provided in paragraphs (b)(2)(i) and (b)(2)(ii) of this section, each scaffold platform and walkway shall be at least 18 inches (46 cm) wide. (a) Center rafter support used as a scaffold - On or about November 10, 2016 an employee was exposed to a fall hazard while working on a walkway that was only 5.5 inches wide and 11 feet 10 inches above concrete with no fall protection.
