29 CFR 1910.135(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee wear a protective helmet when working in areas where there is a potential for injury to the head from falling objects: (a) 2510 North George Street, York Pennsylvania - Employees are exposed to head injuries when required to stand tubes by hand. The employer did not ensure that protective helmets were worn by employees exposed to head injuries, on or about October 24, 2016. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
