29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). On or about August 25, 2016: Employees spraying powder coating and who are required to wear 3M 8210V N95 Respirators are exposed to inhalation and contact hazards from chemicals such as but not limited to 1,3,5 Triglycidyl Isocyanurate (TGIC). The employer did not require the use of personal protective equipment to protect the employees from contact hazards.
