29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE): Maintenance Garage - An assessment of the workplace, where welding and/or painting occurs, was not made to determine the hazards present which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment including but not limited to appropriate gloves for painting and solvents use, welding aprons, flame proof pants and flame-proof long sleeve shirts with neck closings for welding.
