29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: a) On or about April 7, 2016, employees performing set-up activities on the PC-8 machine were not required to utilize energy control procedures to prevent employee exposure to hazardous energy from the movement of machine components. The employer had not developed and implemented energy control procedures to ensure that throughout the machine set-up activity including machine adjustments, employees were protected from hazardous energy.
