29 CFR 1926.1400(f): The employer did not establish, effectively communicate to the relevant persons, or enforce, work rules to ensure compliance with those provisions of the Standard the direct an operator, crewmember, or other employee to take certain actions: a) 60 Hudson St on the Worth St side: On or about February 5, 2016 The employer did not have any procedure or policy to ensure that the specific provisions of Subpart CC were being met when engaged in activities such as but not limited to, operating the crane in accordance with the manufacturers procedures regarding wind, ice and snow. Employees were thereby exposed to hazards associated with crane failure.
