P.L. 91-596 Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the hazard(s) of being thrown from industrial truck: A- Establishment - An employee was using the "Hyster", S/N A10D 104325, industrial truck that was equipped with an overhead canopy but was not provided with seat belts, on or about 11/21/2000. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to install seat belts and require the operator to use it.
