OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: CONCAST AREA: On or about March 30, 2015 the employer did not ensure that a gantry crane was securely attached to the load by ensuring that the crane's hook was equipped with a latch. The sling's hook was also not equipped with a latch. This condition exposed employees to struck-by hazards and burn hazards.
