29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures shall be developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees are engaged in the activities covered by this section: Bloomingdale: On or about January 6, 2015, the employer did not develop and document hazardous energy control procedures for utilization by employees who perform maintenance and servicing tasks on machine cells lines such as LH-2. Employees were exposed to amputation hazards. Carol Stream: Stamping The employer did not develop and document hazardous energy control procedures for utilization by employees who perform maintenance and servicing tasks on the SMG Feintool 630 #1 Mandrel. Employees were exposed to amputation hazards. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
