29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: a. On or about October 2, 2014, on the roof, an employee using a Ridgid pneumatic air stapler while installing vinyl components was not wearing safety glasses, exposing him to eye injuries. b. On or about October 2, 2014, on the ground floor, an employee was using a Ridgid skill saw while cutting vinyl components was not wearing safety glasses, exposing him to eye injuries.
