29 CFR 1926.502(d): The employer used body belts as part of a personal fall arrest system: Note: The use of a body belt in a positioning device system is acceptable and is regulated under paragraph (e) of this section. a) Roof of residence located at 5700 Sunburst Drive, Powder Springs, Georgia. Employees, installing asphalt composite shingles, were not wearing personal fall arrest systems. The employees were wearing mountaineering positioning belts which were attached to a lifeline via a lanyard and a rope grab. The employees were exposed to fall hazards of 20 and 13-feet.
