29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) 3159 US 46, Parsippany, NJ Employees were working on a roof surface without fall protection. Employees had harnesses but were not tied off and were thereby exposed to an approximate 20ft fall hazard. Violation observed on or about 10/02/2014. SRS JR, Inc. dba Scott's Roofing & Siding was cited for violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 981555, citation number 2, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 09/11/2014, with respect to a workplace located at 512 Prospect Street Maplewood, NJ.
