Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.178(l)(4)(iii): Refresher training, including an evaluation of the effectiveness of that training, shall be conducted as required by paragraph (l)(4)(ii) to ensure that the operator has the knowledge and skills needed to operate the powered industrial truck safely. On or about October 1, 2014 employees operating powered industrial trucks were not evaluated at least once within a three year period, exposing employees to the hazards associated with operating a powered industrial truck. Abatement certification is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
