OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employee(s) were exposed to an inhalation hazard when entering a confined space: a) On September 24, 2014 and times prior thereto, an employee entered the 5000 gallon NUHN alley vacuum liquid manure holding tank. Employee(s) are allowed to enter the liquid manure holding tank on a regular basis to empty and clean the inside of the tank. Employee(s) who enter the tank are potentially exposed to hydrogen sulfide. Note) Certification of corrective action IS required for this item.
