Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by hazard. 1) Parcel #0612D00517, 600 Block Country Club Road, LaGrange, GA - An employee was operating a John Deere Z-Trak model number Z830A zero-turn lawnmower near an embankment on a slope approximately 14 degrees without the roll-over protective structure installed in an upright position. An employee was struck-by a John Deere zero turn lawnmower and was fatally injured.
