29 CFR 1926.454(a): The employer did not have each employee who performed work while on a scaffold trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards: a) Cafeteria, Jones-Wheat Elementary School - On or about January 31, 2014, employees working on a three tier tubular welded frame scaffold were not adequately trained in the recognition of hazards such as, but not limited to safe access/egress, thus exposing employees to fall hazards of up to approximately 15 feet onto concrete ground. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION IS REQUIRED
