Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: a) Residential Roofing; On or about June 2, 2014 and at times prior, employees were exposed to a fall of 20 feet to ground while installing asphalt shingles on an 8:12 pitch roof with no fall protection. Great White Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 927548, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on December 05, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 4109/4117 Iron Horse Trail, Billings, MT 59106.
