29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about May 1, 2014, employees were working on the roof of a commercial building under construction without using personal fall arrest equipment or an alternate means of fall protection or prevention. Employees were exposed to the hazards associated with falls from a height greater than 6 feet such as serious injury or possible death.
