29 CFR 1910.219(d)(1): Pulley(s) with part(s) seven feet or less from the floor or work platform were not guarded in accordance with the requirements specified in 29 CFR 1910.219(m) and (o): a) Deburr Room - While deburring stainless steel caps, employees were exposed to rotating part and nip point hazards from the exposed belt and pulleys on the Cap Deburrer, on or about February 20, 2014. b) Deburr Room - While buffing stainless steel collars, employees were exposed to rotating part and nip point hazards from the exposed belt and pulleys on the Collar Sander, on or about February 20, 2014. c) Second Floor press area - While pressing parts, employees were exposed to rotating part and nip point hazards from the exposed belt and pulleys on the single mechanical power press brake number 13, on or about February 20, 2014. d) Second Floor press area - While pressing parts, employees were exposed to rotating part and nip point hazards from the exposed belt and pulleys on the single mechanical power press brake number 11, on or about February 20, 2014. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
