29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. This violation occurred on or about January 27, 2014 at a jobsite located at: 1154 East I-30 Rockwall, TX 75087; were an employee was installing drywall from a wooden ledge of a commercial building without fall protection and was exposed to falls up 13 feet. BARBER SPECIALTIES INC. WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 1926.501(B) (1), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 312120298, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON APRIL 13, 2009, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 200 S MURPHY AT FM 544 MURPHY, TX 75094.
