29 CFR 1910.184(h)(5)(iii): Natural or synthetic fiber rope sling(s) with broken or cut fibers were not immediately removed from service. On or about January 30, 2014 employees of DXP Enterprises Inc. were exposed to struck-by hazards due to the failure of the employer to ensure that damaged slings were removed from service in the facility.
