Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to an explosion hazard: a) Allen Harim Foods, LLC, Feed Manufacturing Facility, 20799 Allen Road, Seaford, DE 19973 - Bulk material conveyors such as, but not limited to, grain receiving conveyors were not equipped with detection monitors to identify conditions which are capable of causing ignition of combustible grain dust. On or about May 13, 2014. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, the employer must submit abatement certification, required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
