OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that an employee was exposed to struck-by and crushing hazards when a ramp door fell upon him: (a) The employer did not ensure that connection cables were in good repair and attached to a cargo trailer in order to assist with the raising and lowering of a ramp door, exposing employees to crushing hazards.
