OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to an inhalation hazards from hydrogen sulfide (H2S) gas. On or about November 5, 2013, the employer did not provide hydrogen sulfide (H2S) training to the employee(s) working on Sidewinder Rig #17, when working in and around hydrogen sulfide gas (H2S).
