29 CFR 1910.268(h)(8)(v): ladder rungs and steps were not corrugated, knurled, dimpled, coated with skid-resistant material, or otherwise treated to minimize the possibility of slipping. a) Worksite, 333 Earle Ovington Blvd., Uniondale NY - Employees were exposed to falling approximately 10ft while using a ladder to access a manhole. The ladder used had smooth rungs and steps; on or about 7/29/13. Note: In addition to abatement certifcation, the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
