29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and (a) for the establishment located at 2401 Airport Road Plant City (FL), Drill Press 12 Speed Model #793.12889307, Serial #503906 did not have a guard available for when an employee used the machine to make adjustments to metal parts, on or about July 19th, 2013. (b) for the establishment located at 2401 Airport Road Plant City (FL), Enco Milling Machine did not have a guard available for when an employee was using the machine to widen the hole of a metal part, on or about July 19th, 2013.
