29 CFR 1910.24(h): Standard railings were not provided on the open sides of all exposed stairways and stair platforms: At the maintenance floor area of the wave generation machine, a wooden stairway was installed without standard railings on either side of the stairway. Employees performing maintenance work in this area and employees passing through the area were exposed to falls onto industrial pumps and the floor.
