29 CFR 1910.147(e)(3): Lockout or tagout devices removal. Each lockout or tagout device shall be removed from each energy isolating device by the employee who applied the device: a) American Tinning & Galvanizing Company / 552 West 12th Street, Erie, PA: On or about June 7, 2013, lockout devices (i.e. locks) were capable of being removed under normal conditions by personnel who did not apply the lockout device. Maintenance employees were utilizing locks that were keyed alike for the control of hazardous energy.
