29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where the eyes or body of any person may be exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body shall be provided within the work area for immediate emergency use. [63 FR 33450, June 18, 1998] a) At the establishment, employees assigned the tasks of maintaining, charging, and changing the lead/acid batteries of the company's industrial trucks were exposed to corrosive chemical hazards. The chemical eye wash located in the charging area was empty and not available for immediate emergency use. R.R. Donnelley was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.151(c), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 309843969, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on December 8, 2008, with respect to a workplace located at 2660 South Broadway, Green Bay, Wisconsin 54304.
