29 CFR 1910.107(e)(9): Flammable liquids for use in spraying operations were transferred from one container to another without both containers being effectively bonded and grounded to prevent discharge sparks of static electricity. a) On or about February 11, 2013, while working in the Paint Booth Building, an employee was exposed to explosion and fire hazards while cleaning the paint spray gun by spraying thinners and/or cleaners through the painting system into a metal barrel. The metal barrel was not bonded or electrically connected to the paint spray gun.
