Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to fall hazard in that: a) An employee was working off of an unsecured wooden pallet on the blades of an industrial powered forklift truck sixteen feet above the cement dock floor, installing drain pipe with no fall protection, September 23, 1987. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement methods to correct this hazard is: 1) Using mobile scaffold for high work, 2) tubular scaffold, 3) or an extension ladder.
