29 CFR 1926.850(b): The walls or floors were not shored or braced where employee(s) were required to work within a damaged structure to be demolished: Schofield Barracks Building 450: On October 29, 2012, employees were engaged in demolishing an interior concrete wall. They were demolishing the last of four quadrants when the wall collapsed, crushing an employee causing fatal injuries. The structural integrity of the wall was compromised by the damage caused by the removal of the first three quadrants. The employer failed to shore or brace the remaining wall quadrant.
