OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: On or about August 17, 2012 at the above adressed jobsite, a supervisor was operating a Recycling Collection Vehicle (Trash/Recycle Truck) with the passenger door open, while the employee (helper) was not using the passenger horizontal/door restraint belt, thereby exposing the employee(helper) to falling out/ejection hazards from the moving vehicle. NOTE: CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
