29 CFR 1926.602(c)(1)(vi): All industrial trucks in use did not meet the applicable requirements of design, construction, stability, inspection, testing, maintenance, and operation, as defined in American National Standards Institute B56.1-2011, Safety Standards for Powered Industrial Trucks: At the Total Petrochemicals C4 Tank Farm Firewater Upgrade site located East of Tank 455 at 7600 32nd St. Port Arthur, Texas 77642. On August 14, 2012, where an employee was struck by a falling load elevated by a Genie GTH-644 S/N: VR64210, Rough Terrain Forklift that was not safely arranged or stable. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method for abatement is handle only stable or safely arranged loads as per ANSI/ITSDF B56.6-2011 Safety Standard for Rough Terrain Forklift Trucks, Paragraph 6.4.3.
