29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iv): Strain relief. Flexible cords shall be connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided which will prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws. a) For the construction site at 8020 Sanderling Rd., Siesta Key, FL 34242, as observed on or about 08/02/2012: a flexible power cord used and owned by D&B Carpentry of Sarasota, Inc. had separated from its plug, exposing the inner insulation which presented an electrical cord strain relief hazard.
