29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there is a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, shall be protected by protective helmets. a) On the front of the building, on June 7, 2012, the employer did not ensure the use of protective helmets by employees working directly under the working platform of a tubular welded scaffolding system where brink laying work was being performed, exposing employees to the hazards associated with concussions, lacerations, and bruises. Victor Mena was previously cited for a violation of this occupation and safety health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.100(a), which is contained in OSHA inspection 314095563, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as final order on February 22, 2012, with respect to a workplace located 219 Mallard Loop Drive, Savannah, Georgia 31405. ABATEMENT CERTIFICAITON IS NOT REQUIRED.
